“Nice brewery in Soldiers Grove. The didn't have there full tap list on my stop but had 8 or 9 on. They had IPAs, browns, a Stout, honey, Pale, Session....my favorite by far was there limited release Cake. Great beer. The brewery is bright with a fair amount of seating inside, but limited outside. Inside was really cold on our stop but weather was all over the place lately so I imagine they didn't know to turn on the heat or the air that day. Their is not really a place to sit at the bar and talk beer but not a big deal if you are with friends. I will go back.”
“Excellent food, drinks, beer was cold. The help and customers were awesome. They had no problems with our grandchildren being there.I highly recommend this place.”
“The best French cuisine I have ever eaten in my life, the food, the desserts, the wines, everything is a delight, the service is excellent, the nuns are very attentive and helpful, they make you feel at home. the church next door. Everything is beautiful.”
“Discovered another favorite Wisconsin bar. Our bunch of Iowans were warmly welcomed and treated like old friends..even during the Iowa vs Wisconsin game! The owner is a sweet lady. Don't forget to ask to play Spin-the-Wheel!”
“Very friendly, welcoming. What you hope a small rural place will be.But the main thing is the burgers that come out of their tiny kitchen. The place is legendary for that. No joke.”
“I dropped in for a simple breakfast yesterday and I was blown away by the delicious food they prepared. I also ordered the veggie melt just so I could satisfy my cheese craving but it was so delicious I felt bad for eating so much. Right now they have a nice simple Christmas feel but the food they prepare here is far greater than “simple.””
“stopped by to try the claw machine but it was turned off for a pool tournament will return to see if I am successful service was great and it's a cool location.”
“Dante's was formerly the M&M Bar that is now under new ownership. They have a good menu and the food is very well prepared. I've had their Bacon Ranch Chicken Wrap and the Fried Shrimp Wrap several times and both are very good. The bar is well stocked with a selection of draft and bottle beer as well as mixed drinks. Prices are reasonable.”
“Options are pretty limited in Viola. I'm not much of a drinker, so I can't vouch for the drink selection etc, but I've stopped in at lunch for tacos on Tuesday. Tasty, filling, and cheap!”
“Halver's Town Tap is still the place to drink in Gays Mills, WI. It's the only bar left but rest assured it's not going anywhere. Plus they are adding LIVE Music at the beer tent on Friday night at Apple Fest 9/23/2011. The Pie City Twisters will be cranking out classic rock. Laura's kid brother will be spinning inside. Saturday night Beer Tent is local favorites the Dr. Rumley Snuff Band. This is a huge beer tent, lot's of room to move around and dance and not suffocate with wall to wall people. Check out Apple Festival 9/23-25th. It's still one of the best small town festivals in Wisconsin and you can't go home without apples from the Orchards on the Ridge. more info on www.facebook.com/gaysmills.wi”
“Absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is great, bartenders are pleasant, the chef is outstandingly at what he does, and the food is top shelf.Salad bar is always fresh, soup is home made.Daily specials are delicious, and the prime rib is good. Excellent seafood”
“Food never fails to satisfy. We usually go try out fish Fry's around the area and Desperados is our family's favorite. Our teenage boys love their huge burgers.”
