Well worth the two hour drive to get there from Dubuque. A truly unique place. I’m a never leave without purchasing some of their fantastic breads. Absolutely love this place.”

“Love this Bar and the bar tenders. Got a gratuity added to my bill which was shocking as we where at the bar not at a table. Talked to the bartender, and surprise people are not tipping the wait staff or bartenders hence gratuity is being added to the bar bill why because people guest's are stiffing bar staff and wait staff.Which means they are not getting a tip. Which again is horrible. Check your bill for auto added gratuity, leave them cash and please remember these people work hard for their tips/money. Do better people locals and tourists.”

“It’s true that the regulars and, to be honest, Lafarge in general, are extremely unwelcoming. That includes the owners who were sitting at the bar drinking. The staff somehow is usually nice enough, but the service is unorganized. In my experience just a sign of bad management.”

“We stopped in from a 700 mile motorcycle ride from sturgis back to Tennessee, the staff is amazing., the owner is equally amazing and is one heluva cook . I got the wagu steak and it was delicious! 10/10 stars and highly recommend making this place a destination.”

“I ate the burger before I got a picture of it.Sorry.But check out the video I witnessed some excellent excellent customer service from two young people that were working one was at the Register and the other one was filling the bags of orders, and there was a disgruntled customer that came up to the counter. And these 2 guys were so professional. So polite did their job so well they are exactly what customer service is. And I hope that you give them a raise.I hope you recognize that they understand the job at hand and that this is what you want your employees that deal with customers to act like thank you guys for being alive.I'm glad I got to see that today”

“Was an old favorite of our group that rode motorcycles up in Wisconsin. They closed for a remodel and opened looking really nice. Food is still just as good as it was. Just going to miss the loaded biscuits and gravy. We will return again”

Went through drive & spent around $23.07 that included another 4 piece chicken tenders minus the drink. Definitely worth stopping. Right on main street. Pleasant customer ”
