“Are you looking to get into a fight, get arrested, have your brother come to pick you up, only for said brother to then crash into the very police car that arrested you? If so, let me give you the Berger family approval on this place then, because that's exactly what happened in the 90s and its 2023 right now and I still think this is funny as can be.Mind you I'm the youngest, I was probably home watching Power Rangers when this occurred, but let me regale you with one of those family stories, as told by a little brother. My eldest brother, was dating one of the local girls, and apparently he thought he was cool and needed to show how cool he was, in a convertible, in Wisconsin, in the winter. Well, this girls x boyfriend didn't think he was cool and threw some ice at the car as they went by "the light". (Locals know). So Eldest brother gets out, a kerfuffle ensues and Officer What's His Butt who gives every 16 year old a ticket rolls on up and arrests said eldest brother. No idea what the story is with the other guy, he probably won the girl over with his excellent ice throwing skills.Officer Easy Ticket, then brings eldest brother to this very pub. I assume Officer Easy Ticket wanted a beer while he waited for my dad to get there from the Poodle Inn (different pub, same town). Second oldest brother, because there is absolutely nothing else to do in this town, hears about said kerfuffle, and springs into action! He will save eldest brother from the clutches of Officer Here's Your Ticket!Brother two then pulls into the parking lot of the Village Pump in what I can only assume is a premium parking spot, because it was the same parking spot Officer Always Makes His Ticket Quota happened to be parked in. Due to the laws of Physics I learned about at St. Croix high school (thank you Mrs. Accola/Ms. Slade/Mrs. Zozel?), two objects cannot share the same space at the same time. I believe my elder brother was unaware of this at the time, so when he attempted to defy this law, the two cars merged.Mind you, this entire time I can only assume Officer You Were Doing 57 in a 55, was hitting beer after beer back inside the pub with my eldest brother hand cuffed to a chair.Eventually my father must have paid the bill at the other pub and showed up, but he was in quite a conundrum. After all, who do you kill? The eldest, who has been most like tortured like James Bond in Casino Royal (you know the scene!), Hand cuffed to a chair because he got into a fight. Or brother two, who decided to test the laws of thermodynamics with the family's newest car and a police car.I will never know dear reader. But what I do know is this, my brother did many teenagers a great service that night. As Officer I See You Just Got Your License Let Me Give You A Ticket To Break It In, was without a car that night and for some nights afterwards. You're welcome Solon Springs.Get a PBR for me while you're here.“

“We got there was seated right away. The food was amazing and the service top notch. I am a chef and I could not ask for a better dinner experience. The owners are the best people you could want. To meet they are awesome people. I highly recommend that if you are in this area. That you stop in and see them. Yes you will pay a little more. But the experience and all that gose with it. You will want to travel the time you spent driving to come back!!“
