“Discovered another favorite Wisconsin bar. Our bunch of Iowans were warmly welcomed and treated like old friends..even during the Iowa vs Wisconsin game! The owner is a sweet lady. Don't forget to ask to play Spin-the-Wheel!”

“This is my 4th time stopping here in past 3 years.....hands down some of the best pizza anywhere. Their thin (also thick avail) crust is delicious! And try the bloody Mary, the veges/pickle have a tasty horseradish kick...Parking: Parking area about 35 yard wide, about 70 yard long”

“Dante's was formerly the M&M Bar that is now under new ownership. They have a good menu and the food is very well prepared. I've had their Bacon Ranch Chicken Wrap and the Fried Shrimp Wrap several times and both are very good. The bar is well stocked with a selection of draft and bottle beer as well as mixed drinks. Prices are reasonable.”
“Really good pizza, very reasonably priced. Fast, hot, to go pizza that doesn't break the bank! Order this when we have had a a long week and don't want to cook or when we have unexpected company. Everyone always raves about it and they are always surprised we have such good take away.”
“Halver's Town Tap is still the place to drink in Gays Mills, WI. It's the only bar left but rest assured it's not going anywhere. Plus they are adding LIVE Music at the beer tent on Friday night at Apple Fest 9/23/2011. The Pie City Twisters will be cranking out classic rock. Laura's kid brother will be spinning inside. Saturday night Beer Tent is local favorites the Dr. Rumley Snuff Band. This is a huge beer tent, lot's of room to move around and dance and not suffocate with wall to wall people. Check out Apple Festival 9/23-25th. It's still one of the best small town festivals in Wisconsin and you can't go home without apples from the Orchards on the Ridge. more info on www.facebook.com/gaysmills.wi”
“Very Nice It has been sold. It is called BOONDOCKS now. I have been going to this bar for over 58 years. When Carol got involved and started cooking that was wonderful. The new owners are locals and food keeps coming.”

“I have had meals here before did not with this visit. Friendly owners and pleasant atmosphere. No more than 10-12 people while we were there. Good place to have a drink with friends and family.”
