I'm a student at UWSP from 2020-current, and i've eaten at Upper Debot for maybe 65% of my meals at UWSP. It is definitely an acquired taste, sometimes they actually have really good food; however, a lot of the time they serve hot garbage that makes your stomach gurgle for the next 10 hours. Food here is good. I personally like the options and haven’t really had anything bad. Wish it wasn’t closed during the only times I’m not in class or sports but I’ll be getting less meal swipes for next semester.
There's a great selection of food, most of the food also has nutritional info available unless it's new, which has helped in my weight loss. Only issue is the times when it is open and closed is somewhat inconvenient, as a result dining outside of campus becomes necessary. Overall though it's a pretty good place!
