We stopped in this morning for breakfast. The service and food were on point. We enjoyed siting on the patio. The western omelet was delicious. My wife enjoyed to sausage muffin with American potatoes. We loved the historic building!

If you are in a hurry on a Sunday morning and get annoyed waiting, this is not for you. If you have time to enjoy the your company, it is worth the wait. The chilaquiles is top notch and the pancakes so good, they don’t need syrup. We will definitely be back.

Morning Glory by the Bay was a fantastic start to our day in Door County. The restaurant itself is small but comfortable, with a welcoming atmosphere and a great local vibe. We visited with a party of four and had the chance to sample a variety of breakfast offerings.

The standout dish for me was the chilaquiles. It was packed with flavor and had just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. The chicken was exceptionally well-seasoned, juicy, and tender, creating a unique and memorable breakfast experience.

We also ordered the corned beef hash with scrambled eggs and hash browns. It was everything you want from an American breakfast classic: crispy, hearty, and comforting.

The meat lovers omelet was absolutely massive and generously stuffed with bacon, sausage, and ham, then topped with American cheese. When it arrived, I honestly thought there was no chance I would finish it, but somehow I did. It was that good.

The Swedish pancakes were another pleasant surprise. They were almost like a hybrid between a crepe and a traditional pancake, with a sweet flavor and fluffy texture that worked wonderfully. The crispy bacon paired nicely alongside them, and since you're in Door County, adding cherries on top felt almost mandatory. It elevated the dish to another level.

The service was excellent throughout our meal. Our coffee and water glasses never sat empty, and there is just something about a fresh cup of diner coffee that always hits the spot.

My only minor critique would be the hash browns. They were a bit dry and could have used a little more seasoning and perhaps some butter to make them really shine. That said, they were perfectly acceptable as served and certainly didn't detract from the overall experience.

Overall, Morning Glory by the Bay delivered great food, attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Door County.
