🥰Was up there for Mother's Day weekend and we stopped on our way back to Joliet IL to eat and OMG ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD!!! and I will DEFINATELY stop there every time we go up to Sturgeon Bay's Old Mexico Sturgeon Bay Absolutely AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE!!!!!! If you're a local to the Peninsula??? make it your favorite Mexican Restaurant and if you are visiting??? Make sure you stop there, you won't regret it!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is amazing ! I mean words can’t even describe! Starting with amazing salsa mixed in with great staff! The food was outstanding and those margaritas.. wow! 5 outta 5 for sure and we will be back! Can’t wait to eat my leftovers!

Love the table side guacamole! Fresh is best!!! Loved that we were able to order our faves a la carte instead of being forced to have additional items we didn’t really want. I wish all restaurants did it. My guacamole, chips and quesadilla was the perfect amount of food. I only paid for what I wanted and could eat!

We all agreed the food was awesome. Two of us had the lunch special - steak fajita quesadilla's, and the portion was just right for lunch. The other 2 adults had an enchilada meal and a carnitias meal. Our little one had a quesadilla kids meal. The staff were very friendly and conscientious. Food was brought out very fast. The restaurant had a very authentic Mexican atmosphere and was very clean.

Kid-friendliness: The waiter was so patient and attentive with our 3 year old.

Terrible,Manager and hostess has attitude,
Food okay
Service, okay most of the time
Older gentleman server has no patients with customers.
Don’t try to do a carry out, half the time they don’t answer the phone, I tried 6 times once,
Finally went there to place order.

Go to Gloria’s Mexican Restaurant in Sturgeon Bay.
Better all around, many of the servers left Old Mexico to go to the new restaurant, Gloria’s

Stopped in for lunch the table side guacamole was absolutely delicious! I told my daughter if the food is half as good as the guacamole, I'm excited. She pointed out that most of the people in here were old people that it was not a good sign. Unfortunately, she was right. The food was good, just a little on the bland side for us. The chicken was juicy and well cooked. If you are looking for a mild menu check this place out.
