Everything was excellent
Sonny's is always at the top of our list of restaurants we go to in Sturgeon Bay. The food is always delicious, the drinks are always top notch, and the staff is always friendly, helpful, & does an excellent job! The portion size for their pasta dishes are plentiful almost assuring you will have leftovers. The restaurant sits right on the marina by the old steel bridge. Request a table outside to take in all the ambiance. There is also a Tiki Bar outside by the marina that will serve the full menu... Bands in the Spring/Summer time as well.
I like it here. I wish they were faster
A beautiful restaurant with amazing food!
Their portions are huge. I took my leftovers home and had two more meals out of it! The salad bar was practically empty ,I had to wait for them to refill even the lettuce on the salad bar. I would suggest that they kept it stocked a little better than they are. We sat where there was a nice view of the lake. And they have a nice variety of options on the menu.
Pizza delivered was top shelf!
Casual, fun, delicious.
After a long day, we were tired, exhausted, and looking for a quick bite. We actually headed to another restaurant after doing quite a bit of research, only to find it was closed! Luckily, we stumbled upon this place by accident—and sometimes those unplanned stops turn out to be pretty decent.
The ambiance was nice, though it was understandably busy because of the long weekend. Despite the crowd, the staff remained friendly and welcoming, which made the experience pleasant.
The fries could have used a little more seasoning, and while the rest of the food was okay, it had the feel of pre-made frozen items rather than freshly prepared dishes. The drinks were good and hit the spot after a long day.
Overall, it was a convenient stop with good service and a comfortable atmosphere. It may not be a destination meal, but if you're hungry, tired, and need a quick bite, it does the job!
The setting is a coastal dream; the hospitality, unfortunately, is a local disappointment. The restaurant really maximizes its real estate with an unobstructed, breathtaking advantage point of the water. The lovely atmosphere promises a memorable dining experience, as we celebrated the 4th of July. However, the waiter appeared entirely unhappy to be there, displaying a dissmissive attitude, and what could be unfortunately clearly understood as an out of town stigmatization.

The Pizza was delicious, if you like spice I highly recommend trying the Nashville hot curds. The service was excellent. One of the best dining experiences I've had. Definitely recommend stopping here for a bite to eat.

Amazing views and great service! We enjoyed watching the sun set on the lake and even saw some fireworks. The pizza was good and there was a big selection on the menu.
