“See my UPDATE below. Hillcrest seemed to be on its way down. They cut their hours (now only breakfast and lunch) and discontinued their Senior Menu as well as their loyalty program.Still, they have great food at reasonable prices.UPDATE: Hillcrest seems to have survived what I thought was a bad business decision. Seems to be going strong. Try the (huge) Hillcrest omelette - maybe split it with a companion. Or try their delicious fruit crepes. My favorites are blueberry and strawberry. (HINT: ask 'em to warm the fruit.)BONUS: (for me at least) I like my bacon crisp and the Hillcrest cooks truly know how to prepare bacon that way! ??“
“Would drive by and would rarely see many cars there but the day I was there, a Saturday, it was full. My meal of an omelet was very good. I was surprised at the ambiance of it. “First time here. I got the biscuits and Gravy with hashbrowns and over easy eggs. The other half got the castle wood omelette with homemade toast and cubed potatoes. Both were very flavorful and the homemade toast was awesome. Definitely coming back and highly recommend it!“
