I've been going to this place for 15 years or more and it hasn't changed at all in that stretch. Really good burgers and fries for half the price you'd see at other sit down restaurants, and cold cheap beer. Service is very good considering this place is always busy. To say the Atmosphere is eclectic would be an understatement. This place has major character. I ate here with my 2 teenagers today and our bill was $23.50. I usually tip 50% when I go the Anchor bar...
Burger was good, not excellent for my taste as it came out well done. Atmosphere was fun, it was busy, so first server got drunk order, took food order and disappeared. Not fair of me to rate this as an overall service rating. Next person was running, saw server more in the last 10 mins than the hour prior.

It was very interesting! The reason that I felt I needed to go is that I read a book by a Minnesota author (Brian Freeman)and the murderer was in that bar. Best burger ever! Best fries ever! Great prices! I will most definitely be back!
