“Visited Thirsty Pagan years ago and absolutely loved every bit of it, especially the rugby history and pizza. In Superior for a cabin weekend with my rugby team so had to drop in for dinner on our way into town.
Could not have been happier with our evening. Steve, the owner, heard wind we played rugby and gave us a personal tour of all the rugby memorabilia. What an absolute joy to hear the history of Duluth Women’s Rugby Club (and I guess the men too).
Pizza is Detroit style-esque and soo tasty. We had their supreme type and Mediterranean and I can’t wait to finish our leftovers. Salads, beer, and brownies were also amazing.
Service was superb even before the rugby connection was found- same as I experienced years ago. And Steve was so sweet to give us a discount on drinks.
So glad I came back. Definitely making it a stop on all my Duluth/Superior trips going forward.

“So, the other day I went to Papa Murphys on tower Ave. I went in and ordered a large papa's favorite. I was met with a Man who had nothing but smiles on his face. He asked me how my day was, I said it could be better, and he said I’m sorry to hear that. Hopefully we can put a little more joy in your day and help make it a little better.
He smile and before I even started paying, he asked his coworker to make the pizza so I could have it as fast as possible. Then when I got to the end of the counter he said, Thankyou, I said no Thankyou.
He then said, just remember, pain is temporary, dont be to hard on yourself. Smiled then said enjoy your pizza and have a blessed day.
I asked what his name was, he said David.

“I had placed an order at 5:25pm to pick up on my way home from work. I arrived at 6:00 pm to a full lobby of people waiting. After hearing they had employees on vacation and other employees had called in sick I knew I'd be waiting a while. The few employees they had working at the time were keeping a steady pace and very kind and apologetic. They did their best to inform customers there will be a wait time for their food and kept up the pace. I did eventually get my order and they didn't an exceptional job prepping cooking and boxing my order. “It must be a night "off". I ordered a small lasagna with an extra slice of garlic bread. Upon opening, the lasagna was deconstructed. the sauce was amazing but chunky! The meal was luke warm and tasted microwaved. I'll try again because the sauce is so good. *Sidenote* I was told 5 p.m. so the driver who came back from delivery took my name. The young woman was so friendly when she came out! Unless it had been sitting 15 minutes, it shouldn't have been luke warm with hard cheese. I recommend a second try but not sure when. There are many places with hot, fresh lasagna.“

Had a delicious burger for lunch and ladies with a mildly irritated attitude were holding the place down, yet they made sure I felt welcomed. It was was like being in my grandma's kitchen. “Honestly, this place deserves 10 stars! My wife and I had reservations for our 15 year wedding anniversary and wow did they go above and beyond!! They had the most delicious food and my wife who has celiac disease had so many options to pick from for food. They made our night so special and I was beyond impressed.
