“Fiddle heads is one of my most favorite places to go, whether to study, see friends or just grab a quick drink I love it! The peopel inside are always very welcoming. And my favorite part of the Fiddle heads is the outdoor seating options open year round. I love that in the winter I can still enjoy the "outside" while cozy and warm!“

“This is by far the best pizza! You must order the deep dish. Even people that typically do not like deep dish love this one! The crust tastes like my grandma's beer bread she used to make. The ingredients are fresh and they are not stingy with their toppings. I even had my friend's mom (from Italy) dine with me there and she said it was exceptionally good. She said the sausage is excellent. It's a small, cozy place. A great place to dine with friends. The bartenders are always friendly. (You order at the bar and they tell you when your order is up.) My latest visit was recently. We drove from the airport, all the way to Tomaso's in the snow to enjoy their pizza, (we even ordered a par bake to take home) then drive an hour back home.“

“I just had their Friday take out fish fry. You get a choice of four kinds of potatoes including sweet potato fries at no extra charge. The food was great and enough for two meals. And get one of their Buckeye Brownies, you won't regret it!“

“This is a lovely little place in the Settlement Shops building. The service is good, very friendly proprietors. I like an Oat milk Latte. Their coffee is very rich and smooth. I usually get something to go, but there is a small little cozy sitting area as well for a few people. They sell other interesting, fair trade items there, I actually go there quite often to buy natural soap.“

“Nice place to drink after a long day at work. The service is very fast even on busy days. The food is your typical bar type food. Nothing special. A local place the coworkers go after work because it is close by. The enter and exit is confusing because driveway is hidden. So because very caution.“

“first time going here and we were intrigued a lot by the choices. everything on the menu was detailed and they even had a tablet with pictures of some menu items. the items we got tasted phenomenal and better than starbucks and other competitors. the atmosphere is calming when needed and controlled when busy. dan is a really chill and you just feel relaxed. highly recommend“

“Beautiful coffeehouse with plenty of seating both inside and outside. Staff was not the most friendly but the coffee and spritzer were all really tasty. Somewhat pricey but I'd say worth the money. The coffeehouse is large and spacious overall. Gorgeous flowers outside with plenty of seating for those beautiful summer days. “This has become my go to breakfast and lunch place. Everything I have had has been delicious, the space is adorable, and the service is outstanding. I often meet with friends and we are never rushed and instead encouraged to hang out no matter how busy they are. Love this community oasis.“

“I love this restaurant. The quality of the food is excellent, atmosphere is charming and you will not fine better bread in Milwaukee period. The staff and owner are very friendly. I have seen a few reviews noting slow service, it is a small business and they have limited staff but it is worth the wait. Shorewood is lucky to have such a fantastic coffee, breakfast, brunch and lunch option.“

“On my list to try for quite awhile and wish it hadn't taken so long to get here! Came with my 7yr old for lunch on a Wednesday and it was busy, and now I know why. She had the original mac and cheese and loved it, and she's a picky Mac n cheese eater. I tried a few bites as well and it was great, way better than Noodles and Co. and cheaper than Noodles as well. I had the Chipotle Chicken sandwich and it was excellent. We had some custard for dessert and it was also terrific, only $3.75 for a scoop and you get 3 toppings! Service was extra friendly, seems like a family and treat you like family, the kind of place I like to spend my money at, but don't need to spend a lot because for the quality and quantity of food, it was very reasonable. I look forward to coming back soon with the entire family to try more, great spot!“

“I did everything online for my parents' anniversary. I ordered an 8" lemon bundt with a flower on top and a light drizzle. I also ordered 12 bundtinis, custom picked. My mother bakes, so I was very worried they would taste "store-bought", but she liked them a lot, which guarantees we'll be back! And the cake was so pretty and not overly fancy (my dad's words). We all loved the bundtinis because we could get a sampling of other cakes.Now the folks there were awesome - we were running late for pick up and they called to see if we needed to reschedule. Then, the next day, I called to compliment them on the cakes, and to ask a question about how they choose replacements in the bundtini box if they run out, NOT A COMPLAINT, JUST A QUESTION! Turns out, it was an error on the store's part and the store manager offered to replace the whole box! This is the NEXT DAY!!! I told her that's not why I called, multiple times, and eventually thanked her. Profusely.The cakes are top-tier in taste, no doubt, but along with that kind of customer service and kindness... Nothing Bundt Cake-er for life!?“

“Decided to try this place out for happy hour after hearing that they now have a happy hour. Met up with a friend and we both started out with a Grey Goose martini up, and a little dirty. They were tasty and for the happy hour price of $7 I couldn't have been happier. We followed those up with a couple of BOGO beers and some small bites. The cranberry jalapeno spread was a great choice & the bread to scoop it up with was damn good too. Very clean, inviting space with attentive staff and great service. We'll be back!“

“First visit to this winery and was pleasantly surprised with what they had to offer. I am not a fruit wine drinker because the fruit is typically overpowering with its tartness but I have to say that everything we tasted was more 'wine' like and delicious. The hostess was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Added to our list of places to return to.“

“Chose the restaurant as we were looking for a place to eat in Milwaukee. I was looking at James Beard award winning restaurants and Solly's came up as a winner in the classic category. I ordered the butter burger due to it being what they are known for amongst other things. I also had a potato pancake. Both were excellent. My wife had the patty melt with fry's. I ate half her fry's also as there was a full plate of them.The staff was on point with their service. The woman working the cash register was awesome. I went to their website prior and did not expect to walk in on old fashioned counter service. There appeared to be only one table in the place. This seemed to work very well for staff as the waiter walked around the counter tending readily to everyone's needs.Was it expensive as others have written? No. It's 2024, and this is not a fast food joint it's a sit down place with full service. Try it out. They have many food options available, I will be back to try others.“

“The deep dish pizza is really great!!We arrived fairly early in the evening so it wasn't very busy, but it was still fairly loud due to hard surfaces in the restaurant. (Not too loud, just enough that it's noticeable.)We sat in a booth and put our order in at the bar. Food was delivered to us and everything was really good. We will definitely be going back... And we will try to bring friends or family members!“

“food was ok, not really traditional Asian food, the Orange chicken was outstanding, but pad Thai was not pad Thai. it definitely was clear what it was going to be, but it did not knock my socks off. good but not life changing, but I am probably spoiled having used to living near Asian communities, so I would take my advice with a grain of MSG...“
