“Honestly do not make the mistake of judging this place by the outside appearance! It's an older building with some flaws but the owners are just amazing and the staff as well! Everyone is always so friendly and it's got a great atmosphere in general.“
“There’s something for everyone anytime of year here. My partner and I had a great dinner here on a snowy Saturday night. I ordered a bowl of their homemade soup to start. The soup of the day was chicken dumpling, my favorite! He had a patty melt which looked great and he finished all of it! I also ordered the cherry bomb shrimp and a side salad which made for a perfect light dinner, all while looking out the window to a view of lake nokomis and one of this years first snow falls. The perfect November view. We browsed the extensive winter drink menu also and overall had a great visit. We will be back again soon.“
“Met there with grandkids on a wintry night. Lovely little spot deep in the woods with good food and attentive service. This is north woods friendly. My poor man's was basic but very good, and our table enjoyed the Friday night walleye, ribs, and pasta. Good manhattans. Beer list is basic but I enjoyed a Spotted Cow. Certainly visit again.“
