“My band and I make a kind of home of Trempealeau Hotel. We love playing and staying there. The food is top notch, the staff is warm and welcoming. The surrounding area is beautiful (you can walk along the river or go hiking on trails nearby). It’s a special place, and good people are called there.”

“Yes, in this tiny little town, I had the best pizza I had for years. They do pizza right by heaps of cheese and toppings, not bread! While everyone else props their crust, the bread, Piccadilly Circus Pizza puts the focus where it should be, cheese, cheese, and more cheese. Delicious!”

“We celebrated our Mom's 90th birthday in the private dining room - Sullivan's was FABULOUS to work with, the food was extraordinary and Morgan handled our group of 20 with ease (she was a delight!). We came in early to decorate and whatever we needed (another table, cloth, vacuum, etc.) they responded with a smile! We even enjoyed cocktails/beer while we prepped. Honestly, can't say enough good things! Thank you Chris, Randy, Morgan and the Sullivan's team!”

“We met the down to earth owners of Twin Bluffs in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere heading home from a week in Sturgis. They suggested we hop off the highway the next day as we continued our journey east through Minnesota and try their food. We met outside by their friendly bartender who welcomed us into this spacious, neighborhood style bar. We ordered cheese curds, a Philly cheesecake sandwich with fries and a fish sandwich with fries. The food was outstanding! Hot and was only a short wait. This out of the way place is a true gem. If you find your way around Winona Minnesota, swing on in for the best bar food I’ve had in a long while!”

“We stopped at this grill/bar as a result of a search for an eating facility on the internet while travelling. It's a clean little place and it appeared local patrons enjoyed it as it was around 2 p.m. and people were visiting at the bar. The waitress was pleasant and recommended a couple things off the menu. After ordering, it didn't take long for the freshly made burgers and fries to be served. The food was hot and delucious. Positive experience.”

“Lylli & Ivy did the cupcakes for my daughter’s wedding. They were delicious!! We had a small cake made and they decorated it so beautifully. Everyone complimented the way they set up the display. We will definitely go back for more.”

“If you like Kwik Trip food this is it but better and for better value. There are also additional options that Kwik Trip doesn’t offer. The portion sizes are huge and the food is hot and fresh. Order from a menu at the Hearty Platter counter and then grab a coffee or a Buddy (free refills of both when dining in), and check out at the Kwik Trip register with your drink and Hearty Platter receipt. Sit down at a table and someone will bring you your food. No tips required but if you do tip they are donated to a charity.”

“Recommended to us by some friends we went for a ride to Harry’s Place. The bar and building are amazing. To see the then and now pictures of the building are awesome. Welcomed us like we had been friends for years The owner Harry and his bartender Hannah (I hope that was her name 😀) were great hosts. If you are ever in the area make sure to stop by. We will definitely stop again when we are in the area.”

“My girlfriend and I went there yesterday. It's one of those places when you walk in and you feel at home. All the people were friendly.Then there was the food. Amazing!!! I just had cheeseburger and fries. All the burgers are a half pound. My girlfriend had the ultimate BLT. 12 strips of bacon on that thing. Wow We highly recommend going to Angry's.”

This place has great fried fish and tips so go for those (the baked fish is not great) but they have a lot of other specials to choose from.

Kid-friendliness: Fantastic kids menu with the best prices. This is what will keep us coming back.”
