Poor man's lobster is one of the best around. Chicken and ribs are also excellent! Cool little ice cream shop inside as well for after dinner. My only complaint is there apple and cherry pie are gross! If they would just step that up that would be most appreciated by many I'm sure.
My mom and her friends always enjoy having dinner at the Fire Pitt. Mom enjoyed it so much she wanted her funeral lunch to be held there. I found Art very easy to work with, he handled everything with the utmost professionalism and helped me a hard task a lot easier. The pricing was more than fair.
On the day of the meal, we arrived to find everything prepared and organized. The restaurant was well staffed with super attentive and friendly wait staff. The pizza was amazing!...

Casual dining and cozy bar mark this laid-back location just north of the WI/IL state border.
Pros: Conveniently located, family-friendly, plenty of parking, onsite ice cream parlor, and of course the oh-so-good fish boil.
Cons: Menu seems built around a few categories with many entrees pricey for the quality; service and food can be bland and inconsistent, and limited side and dessert choices.
Fish boil, I might add, is ALWAYS worth the wait. And this...
