“It's an area icon! If you like history. The foods always great there servers are mostly great. But it's sooooo loud u can't have a conversation. If your kiddos are sensitive to sound or anyone is hard of hearing use caution choosing times to go. Otherwise a great piece of history”

“I cannot express in words how amazing the wings were. I have never had anything like that. It was about 17.50 for 10 so I thought that was pricey at first but when they came out I realized it wasn't. HUGE wings cooked perfectly just absolutely phenomenal. Bartender Jenny was also really nice and you could tell she had regulars and cared about them. These wings are not what you expect. We will be back and are ditching KFC. We will get the Togo chicken from Kelly's pub!”

“I've been here a few times now since the change from Touch of Class and am always pleasantly surprised at the quality. The food is great, and usually exactly what I'm wanting. The chef has dropped by my table a few times after we've eaten just to make sure everything was good and what we were wanting. The service is always rather quick and polite too! The overall ambience seems to still be developing as time goes on but nothing bad. A great "burger" joint (with far more selections) that hopefully continues into the future.”

“Thank you Pizza Time! Over Christmas we had 2 birthdays and Christmas to host. For one of the days we decided on pizza. I called in advance to place our order. I gave the lady the date and time we would need the pizzas delivered. I called the morning of to make sure we were on track. The young man had the order correct and they were working on it. We had our pizzas and bosco sticks delivered on time and HOT!!!! Great job team! Thank you again Pizza Time! You guys ROCK!!!”

“After dinner one night, we headed over to "The Ice Box" and got some ice cream. We were all happy with the selection they had to offer. My girlfriend got 2 half scoops on a cone and I got 2 scoops in a cup.The service was VERY friendly and quick. It looked like the owner was moving some sort of equipment into that part of the building for an upcoming line dancing event (which we thought sounded like fun).My only gripe was the claw machine wasn't cooperating with me. I put $2 into the machine and it kept dropping the stuffed toys. ;-)”

“Food was pretty good. We had the all you can eat fishboil, chicken and ribs. The chicken and ribs were great, the fish was good but a bit dry. We did wait over an hour for our food at 5:30 pm on a Friday, but they were busy. Overall it was good, we usually go to another restaurant just over the border in Wisconsin for fish boil and honestly, their fish is better, but this place has a more extensive menu and better ribs. The cherry desert was excellent. I think we would return but maybe come a little earlier in hopes of avoiding the crowd.”

“Love stopping here for gluten-free/dairy-free treats ? Service is always great + the desserts are so rich + full of flavor. Highly recommend the matcha bar + the tiramisu if you like chocolate. I have celiac disease and it can be a challenge to find gluten-free desserts that aren’t highly processed. Love this place! ??”

Not only do you sense that when you are enjoying the public bar facing Cedar Avenue, but you feel that especially when you host a private event in their premier entertainment space: The Barrel Room.We worked with Alyssa from start to finish. She is an incredible person, helping us every step of the way. She made incredible suggestions to us, relieving a lot of our stress from the experience, which you cannot put a price on.The overall atmosphere is incredible. What they were able to achieve with their beautiful space is going to liven up downtown Lake Villa.We held our ceremony at Lehmann Park and our catering was from Galati's next door to HBC. (Please check out Galati's and my review for them.)Between Harbor Brewing and Galati's, downtown Lake Villa has two 'anchor' establishments that will surely cultivate an incredible future. “First time trying this place and omg….will not be our last. We got the jerk chicken rice bowl with the side of mac n cheese. The chicken had amazing flavor and literally fell off the bone when you picked it up. The Mac n cheese was to die for. The owner was so kind. I told her my sister is vegan and she ran back and sent me with a sample of the chickpea curry for her to try….so thoughtful. We absolutely would recommend trying this place. So much better and different than majority of the restaurants in Antioch!”

“I stopped in today by chance, I was hungry and have passed this place several times over the years. This place was amazing. I had a cheeseburger which was delicious. My girlfriend had the Nashville chicken Flatbread which was also delicious. We also had the wonton cheese sticks, they were awesome. Our waitress Makayla was great, very friendly and had great knowledge of the menu items. The bar tender Emily also greeted us and asked how the drinks were. Great place, very clean and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.”

Food at the Round Lake Beach location is available at the Pizza place in the same plaza who will bring your food to you at the bar. Loved going on DJ Bingo nights, Jesse is the best!! She provides a great welcoming atmosphere and knows how to take care of you. All around great spot to go to.”

“They make their waffle cones fresh everyday. Their ice creams are so good in quality, got to try blueberry waffle in a waffle cone and absolutely loved it. Price is also reasonable. They relocated from Main Street to a different location now and has plenty of parking.”

“Due to the superb quality of the food and the outstanding service this has quickly become my wife and I's favorite spot to eat. We will probably be returning weekly and will be regular customers. The young man who does the serving is very attentive and more polite than anyone else I've ever seen in a restaurant. They always greet you when you walk in and say goodbye when you leave. Perfect seasoning, healthy chicken, and so much more affordable than the big chains. They are so good I had to order 3 dozen to go. My only complaint is that I don't live closer.I have one warning, if you come by to try these wings, you'll want to order a bucket of them to go.I apologize about the picture.
