I met my current girlfriend at this location 18 years ago, and used to frequent here a lot before moving out of town. We stopped in after a concert in Milwaukee on Saturday and the food was honestly better than I remembered and we had a good conversation with the young man serving. If only Webbs could take root in Madison!

I had the patty melt
2 of the smallest burgers side by side on a large rye toast. Could barely taste the burger but the grilled rye bread was good. I liked the French fries too.

Waiter was quiet at first but warmed up as we were friendly. It's been years since we've eaten there and we've missed it. Best chili, ever since my teen years. Now that's a LONG time. Fries better than that other place with the arches. We sure do miss George Webb's.
