I had one of the lunch specials which was stir fried chicken. It came with chicken dumpling soup. The soup tasted homemade. The stir fried chicken was very delicious and it came with a delicious warmed bun that they make their in their restaurant which was very good.
We went on a Sunday and the place was packed! We were in line with another large party and the weight wasn't that bad. The hostess was prepared with sticky notes for numbers to keep it organized and fair. Food was out in like 10 minutes, which is super quick for a table of 7. The waitress was knowledgeable and speedy too. Definitely will be stopping in again! I had the monte crisco, which wasn't soggy (a common issue with the dish when we make them at home) and was delicious....
Went here for the first time for lunch and came away quite pleased. The service is good and the food was good quality with very generous portions at a very reasonable price. The bill for the two of us for lunch was $27 and we both had part of our lunch to take with us. It’s an older diner that is antiquated but it’s clean and you can tell the staff take pride in their work.
