We contacted Lexi in the Bakery/Deli/Catering and arranged for some catered foods and a 4-tiered cake to be delivered to our home for our Anniversary celebration. Everything was just as we had hoped. We ate there tonight to celebrate my wife's ??th birthday. Our waitress was good. The food was decent. The mixed drinks were nearly sans alcohol. The rub didn't come until it was time to pay our bill. They actually charge an additional 4% to use your credit card. I realize that other eateries in our area have consorted with their fellow restaurateurs to add an additional fee to "cover their costs to do business with their credit card brokers but 4% is a new high....
Keep this place alive! They have the best birthday specials anywhere! Also the most delicious celebration cake and chocolate buttermilk cupcakes. Their cake has been ny favorite since I was 5 years old. INSANE AND UNBEATABLE. I've had cake and cupcakes at highly expensive restaurants and small bakeries all throughout the America. These crush all competition by far.
