Jalapenos Mexican Restaurante & Bar

Always closed!!! Went there at 6 PM on a Friday night, their posted hours stated open until 10pm also stated they were “open” online. The previous time we arrived at 730 and they refused to seat us stating they were closing at 8 pm. Sad to see this as they always had great food.

Poor service, terrible margaritas and food, very pricey.

I wish I could give this place a higher rating as the staff were incredibly friendly. Unfortunately, I got food poisoning and wound up getting very ill

The food was really good. I wish the chips that came with the meal were a little saltier, But not really a big deal. They serve pepsi products. We went about four o'clock on a weekday, and there were only two other tables that were occupied at the time.

Everything was fine in the beginning. Once we received our food I noticed that my shrimp was not even warm it was room temperature and soggy. Then they forgot to cook my wife's food that was on the ticket so I had to either let the food sit their and get cold or eat in front of my wife that had nothing (my wife did not like we I ordered so I could not share it with her). By the time I was finished eating my wife then received her food and we had already been their for over an hour waiting so we took the food to go.

I ordered through DoorDash and I ordered the Mexican tacos and it clearly states on DoorDash when you order these tacos it comes with rice and beans. I did not get rice and beans when I called the restaurant oh I’m sorry but there’s nothing I can do their food sucks their service sucks. Customer service sucks. They should have my dinner and given me another dinner with my rice and beans I will not recommend this to anybody. Signed one happy customer take your tacos and shove them.

First timer, great food, atmosphere, and service.Had two of my grandsons and daughter-in-law along.

Parking: Alot of construction happening around area. Great improvements, family oriented community.

I had Ponchos Lemon & Lime chicken. It was very good. The accompanying sides? Meh. At best. I can't believe arroz y frijoles could be so bland! I'm glad there was salsa Verde at the table.My jalapeño margarita was excellent, using a great reposado! I also had a great waiter! Thank you for that.

Parking: Hard parking when there's a show at the Grand Theater.

great food at a decent price. service is always excellent with a very friendly and helpful staff. comfortable atmosphere. its my go to restaurant anytime I'm in the Wausau area
