McDonald's in Wausau

“Food came out hot and perfect and every staff member was great except the lady manager. The drive through was very long granted, but that doesn’t mean the manager should have been yelling the way she was. The young ladies who took my order and ran my food were very nice and cheerful, but seemed exhausted with the leadership. I’ll stop by here again though on my way through!“

“We went through the drive-thru. This McDonald's taste better than the McDonald's and Merrill and better than the McDonald's in Antigo. Those other two are taste less versus this location. It's fast food but it is what it is and I still want something that has flavor and this is definitely the McDonald's that's local that has decent flavor to their food.“

“I originally had rated this location 5 stars but i decided to edit it (its now like 9 months later) for one reason but it happens every single time. I usually get done working between 9/10pm and then sometimes stop to grab something quick and easy, a lot of times I just want to order a mcflurry. Lately every single time i go and order a mcflurry, im told that machine is down for the night, and its always for 1 of 3 or 4 reasons they say. I understand certain reasons and certain things like if i were to go 10 minutes befor3 close, no problem. But literally EVERY time I go now, they cant do it. Ive come to realize now that its most likely just the fact they want to shut it down and clean it up so they can close up quicker come time for that. But honestly come on, thats ridiculous unless its within like 20ish mins before closing time.“

“I am absolutely blown away at the generosity and kindness of these McDonald's employees. Today on 1-3-25 at about 10pm I decided to drive around and see if anyone stuck outside needed some assistance since it is about 5 degrees. I stopped by at the forest street McDonald's to grab 10 coffees to pass out along the way. These astonishing ladies at this establishment offered to help me out by giving me a discount and some additional free coffees! Thanks to these amazing employees a few extra people can have a hot drink!“
