My family and I stopped by Pinery Coffee in Wausau on our way north to enjoy the fall colors, and it was an absolute delight! Housed in a charmingly repurposed old department store, the coffee shop has a warm, inviting vibe with a unique blend of historic character and cozy modern touches. The pumpkin spice latte was a standout—perfectly spiced, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet, making it the ideal autumn treat. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and we left feeling refreshed and ready for our fall adventure. Highly recommend Pinery Coffee for anyone passing through Wausau!

First time visit and this is literally one of the best iced lattes I have ever had . From here to Florida to North Carolina .. Phenomenal espresso! I am the biggest coffee snob and this is top of my list . The staff was amazing !

Latte was the best tasting local latte I’ve found yet. Greatly appreciated that the baristas were frequently wiping down tables and grabbing used dishes. Super clean, fun, and relaxing atmosphere! Thank you for a nice experience.

My favorite interaction of the day was the amazing staff at pinery! So welcoming and so incredibly kind! My brother and I went on the 4th not realizing they were closed, but we were given free coffees anyway! I’m still thinking about that coffee today and will definitely be my first stop whenever I’m in the Wausau area again! :)

There’s a fantastic selection of drinks available haven’t had a bad one yet :-) what do they do with those Panini‘s?! There must be something secret in them because I cannot duplicate those!

The Pinery is my go to, it’s a hidden gem in Wausau! I love their daylight blend to brew at home-I highly recommend..They can grind the coffee beans for you if you ask! The staff is so friendly and it’s impressively clean in there every time no matter how busy it is. Thank you all!!

What a cute place! The coffee was fantastic. The service was friendly. We were just traveling through. If I lived closer, I would go there often. Five stars from me!
