I picked this place because of the latte flavors listed online. They have a lot of options that were unique and sounded delicious! When we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised how cute the shop was. We were the only ones there but they recently opened for the morning. I ordered the raspberry truffle latte with half sweetness. I'm thankful I did half syrup because it was still sweet. My latte wasn't as hot as I would have liked, my first drink was luke warm so I ended up microwaving it at home. We also ordered an iced honey buzz latte (cinnamon, vanilla and honey), and an iced Douglas latte (I think this was like a pecan pie flavor). This is a great little spot for breakfast and coffees. Everyone in my group enjoyed their morning coffees!!

I got a mocha to go. It was not very warm which I’m not sure if it was a mistake or it’s the norm there but I would consider it a child’s drinking temperature if that makes sense. This cute coffee shop is located in downtown Wausau. I walked in and was immediately welcomed with a smile and a conversation! I ordered a 16oz cappuccino and the standby breakfast panini which was TO DIE FOR. It was THE perfect balance of sweet and savory, the bread was toasted to perfection so it had the best light crunch to it. It was absolutely amazing. The service was great and the seating was cute and open which made it easy to study, be there with friends, etc. Highly recommend!

Friendly and prompt service. I ordered a chai tea latte and it was beautifully balanced with just enough spice and a faint sweetness. The latter is hard for coffee shops to get right, most places think a chai tea latte should be a sugar bomb. The Pinery nailed it! The scone I ate was very good.Nice vibe, beautiful watercolors adorn the walls. It was busy and a little loud which is unavoidable due to the high ceilings. They offer an easy to enroll in and use reward program too. I will be back again for sure!
