Stopped across the street to gas up my car on Tuesday and saw the sign on the road advertising raspberry sherbet, couldn’t help myself but to stop. I’m so glad I did. It was absolutely delicious!
I got in on the last day before closing for the winter. The chocolate malts (my metric for quality) are good, not great. But this is an institution for me. Heading for the north woods on 141, I always stop unless there's a long line. Nice outdoor seating.
It's a terrible shame they have closed and business is for sale. it was a fixture in Iron Mountain for about 40yrs, remember going back when I was in school, was my dad's favorite ice cream station
