Was a bit disappointed. Came in 45 minutes before close. No grilled food available only cold sandwiches. Only had veg. chili left. Took quite a while to get a cold sandwich & a bowl of chili. We were the only customers in there. I've been here before the food is generally good. This was not very good this time.
This is a review of the City Market Cafe and Bakehouse in Wauwatosa. It has a great atmosphere, the staff are friendly and helpfu. I had the Turkey an Cranberry sandwich and it was excellent.
A regular lunch spot for me. The food is very high quality and always find something that I like on the menu. As a vegetarian, there are a variety of options that are vegetarian or can be customized. Other comments mention price - compared to other "fast casual" type cafes, City Market's quality is superb and the value relative to those options is excellent.
