“I order from here pretty regularly because I love their food. I usually do delivery but I did pickup today. There was a man outside the establishment who told me he was hungry. When I went inside to pickup my order, I asked if I could order a dinner for him. Instead, they gave me a meal for him free of charge. What wonderful humans!“

“My boyfriend and I absolutely loved Comet Cafe. The service and food were both amazing. We were in Milwaukee for a few days and had gone multiple times. Tried multiple things on the menu and were never disappointed. Highly recommend coming here if you haven't already.“

“Cute and cozy cafe/diner with adorable charm. I had 6 eggs scrambled and they were excellent. 2 sausage patties and 2 slices of bacon which was also excellent. Coffee is meh but it works in a pinch. Overall I love this place with very friendly and helpful employees.“

“My grandfather has been going out to breakfast almost every day since he retired. After Niko’s closed he started going to Rainbow. My family finally joined him to celebrate his 95th birthday, and it was so sweet to see how much the staff has taken to him. The food was good, the atmosphere is sweet, but what really impressed me was the care they showed him (even including a special birthday donut for him!) to celebrate his special day. “Great food and atmosphere“

“I only order the "Jalapeno Popper" from Mac's in Brookfield. Over half the time I order it they don't put in any jalapenos or they put in next to none. How hard is it to properly make this dish? It is super hard to add jalapenos to the JALAPENO popper? After the 3rd order it happened I brought it back. The manager stated, I quote, "There are jalapenos all up in there" while pointing to two small pieces in the ENTIRE DISH. Done wasting my time and money with this location that can't make a simple Mac and Cheese. Pathetic.“

“This is for the Vliet Street location. I have hit up this place about 5 or 6 times over the last few (winter) months. I absolutely love the variety of soups. I will generally pick up a bowl and 1/2 sandwich for lunch and get a quart of something different to take with me. The food is delicious, well prepared and filling. I never thought I would say that soup was filling but it works for me. Need a cozy comforting lunch? Hit up The Soup Market.“

“While in Milwaukee for my son’s volleyball tournament, we met Eric, the owner of Coaches Soul Food. He invited us to visit, and we’re so glad we did! The fried chicken wings were the best we’ve ever had—crispy, perfectly seasoned, and tender. The catfish was equally delicious. We couldn’t resist sampling the sides: creamy mac ‘n cheese, flavorful black-eyed peas (amazing with rice and hot sauce), sweet potatoes, and phenomenal greens—all served with a tasty beignet. The African watermelon margarita was the perfect touch. This spot is a gem, and we’ll be back every time we’re in town!“
