“This place was so good! A small place with a nice vibe. The staff was super nice and helpful. I’ll try to get there earlier in the day next time because some things were sold out. We got 3 kinda of pierogi, potato croquettes, and hot dish. Delicious! We will be back for sure to see what featured pierogi they come up with next.“
“We are from Indiana and go to Comet Cafe every time we visit our son in Milwaukee. We went twice this time. Love the food and the atmosphere. Nothing fancy but it's clean and the staff are really nice. Lots of delicious vegetarian and vegan options too. The Vegan Biscuits and Gravy and the Tofu Scramble are my favorite. The biscuits are delicious and the Tofu Scramble has lots of veggies and vegan sausage. Highly recommend“
“The Tuesday & Thursday night line dance class is really fun. Grown and sexy crowd, no rowdiness at all. The step team who hosts Tuesday and Thursday nights are really dope and some take extra time to help you learn on a 1:1 type style. Bar tenders are always nice and helpful and they make grown up drinks! Lol none of those watered down overpriced mixers. Real drinks!“
“This is for the Vliet Street location. I have hit up this place about 5 or 6 times over the last few (winter) months. I absolutely love the variety of soups. I will generally pick up a bowl and 1/2 sandwich for lunch and get a quart of something different to take with me. The food is delicious, well prepared and filling. I never thought I would say that soup was filling but it works for me. Need a cozy comforting lunch? Hit up The Soup Market.“
“The 4 patty build-yer-own Angus burger with American cheese slices in the middle of each patty was unbelievably amazing. Very juicy with just the perfect amount of grease oozing. It was so good, I ordered another one 20 min later.Kaitlan, our server, did a fantastic job with our party of 4.Milwaukee water was clear and refreshing. We got done eating and went straight to Saz's circle bar and had a few more rounds.Looking forward to another visit to Saz's State House“
“Friendly staff and great food. We went to Eleven25 for a different vendor's cuisine but they 86'd one of our favorite dishes. While we were thinking about leaving Coaches roped us in with some samples and we were sold. The gentleman working there was funny as hell and we're considering making this a monthly stop now given the food variety, quality, and fantastic service. You will not be disappointed.“
“We got the ribs and chicken deal and were well worth it. We got mac and cheese as a side with some cheddar cheese balls and some breaded mushrooms. Everything was hot and fresh when we picked it up, and we had enough for leftovers. Now I've had their chicken before, so I already knew it was good but had never tried the ribs, and they were so tender and flavorful. I was expecting a small portion, but thru gave us plenty! Will def be going back and would def recommend it to anyone!“
“My friends and I went to Trap Bunch on this past Saturday and let me tell you, boy did we have a time. When we first walked in we were greeted and our waitress Cierra was AMAZING!!!! She was very patient, kind and she always came to check on us. She knew the menu and was able to explain things to us that we didn't know. Overall the experience at 1700 Pull up was everything thing more!!!!!! S/o to the owner!!!! I pray that god continues to you bless you, your employees and the establishment!“
“We went for brunch and it was awesome. Consistently great service and food. We had the berry waffles and chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy. The portions were enormous. Such amazing food at a great value. Just go here. You will not regret it.“
“Not quite as good as some of the places in Chicago but it satisfies the craving and is the best in Milwuakee I've had! Hot dogs are well done with the correct ingredients. Service is good and they have a large variety on the menu. Fries are excellent.Kid-friendliness: Good kid menu with smaller versions of the actual menu items!“
“I haven’t ordered from Meyer’s in quite a while, but I’m so glad I did today….. we ordered takeout lunch. I had the baked cod dinner with parsley boiled potatoes, and my husband had the fried cod dinner with potato pancakes. (they give 2!) comes with coleslaw and rye bread. The fish, both baked and fried was one of the best fish frys we’ve had in a long time! Meyer’s restaurant will definitely be my go to for Friday fish frys!“
“Fantastic AYCE beer battered or regular battered cod fish fry with your choice of fries or potato pancakes with applesauce or syrup. For a minimal upgrade price you can choose homemade rater tots, onion rings, and a few other options. Also served with a great rye bread, coleslaw, and tater sauce. There are other options like perch and bluegill. They also offer other menu items like burgers and sandwiches. Mari was a fantastic bartender/waitress/server.Parking: Free parking lot in back of the building.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp leading to the backdoor off the parking lot in back. On door to enter.“
“Took myself out to breakfast for my birthday and I had to check out the all vegan cafe! I have been vegan for 7 years now and I have never found anything like this! I had a veggie scrambler and mango tango fusion smoothie and both items were so good! And then they brought me a slice of vegan chocolate cake for my birthday dessert. It was the sweetest and kindest gesture. I can’t wait to come back!“
