I ate at Sammy’s today and as I walked in it smelled like the State Fair!! Can’t get any better than that!! Hot, fresh delicious Chicago Dog and crispy fries!! Very nice employees and clean place!!!
Went there to try their Italian beef, service was friendly kitchen looked clean and got my sandwich almost immediately, I ordered it with green peppers and onions and it could have had more of each to be spectacular otherwise it was a good lunch munch and filled me up, the menu is solid as Chicago fair is concerned and the prices were very low compared to the likes of Portillo's etc. I would go back for a Chicago dog on the next visit.
Great reasonably priced burgers. Sammy gives a lot to the community and has had many of his workers with him for a long time. Their Chicago dog nearly brought a friend of mine to tears because it was done correctly.
