I really wanted to like this place, especially because there are limited options in the area. However, as many other reviewers mentioned...the food is mediocre, bakery is stale, and service is terrible. The place also needs to be cleaned more often and more thoroughly. I would have maybe overlooked some of these issues, but regularly getting attitude from the staff is simply unacceptable. Less than 10 minutes away, you can find a much more delicious, clean, and friendly place - North Shore Boulangerie in Shorewood.

The food isn’t bad but the service is consistently slow and rude. For some reason my family likes going here and it’s within walking distance so I’m subjected to experiencing this place far to often. The major irritant today was having to argue about berries on pancakes. It says they come with berries and you can choose to add blueberries or strawberries for an up charge. The pancakes came with no berries and I had to argue just to pay extra for some.

Lovely place, delicious food, great bakery selection. We sat on the outside patio and it was a perfect way to spend a summer morning. Am looking forward to trying other menu items and returning.

I got the “Grilled Chicken” from the kids menu. It says grilled chicken strips and a side of fruit. It is a bunch of crumbled up pieces of cold chicken in a plastic container. The side of fruit is in a tiny to-go salad dressing container. This was $7.25.

This fast-casual cafe is great! You get what you come for - good eats on a lovely patio. We've been a few times and would say it's pretty much always a solid experience. Recently, we popped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The outdoor seating with almost full, but we managed to grab the last table. We're very appreciative of the high chairs available as well - you can grab one as needed. You put your order in at the front counter, which was tough to decide because their menu is fairly robust. Soups, sandwiches, salads, wraps, market bowls, noodles... it would be tough not to find something to enjoy! I opted for the Grilled Cranberry Turkey sandwich and oh what a tasty choice that way. It's loaded with goodness: roasted turkey, swiss cheese, gorgonzola, cranberry chutney, greens, toasted walnuts, and a yummy garlic aioli. All of this is on toasted french bread. Delightful. My husband went with the Lime Cilantro Chicken sammie and enjoyed it as well - couldn't finish it though because it was quite a generous size. We also ordered a banana muffin - mostly for our son, but we had to try a bit of course - can't say I was a fan of that. It was super duper dry and just lacked flavor. But hey it kept my one year old happy, so thats a win. Wouldn't hesitate to return here!

The coffee and tea selections were very decent, but the food was the real winner here. I had blueberry pancakes while my husband had the French toast, and both dishes were delightful. The French toast in particular was made with baguette bread, making it both soft and chewy in a unique way that I would love to emulate at home. The pork sausage sides were also quite nice with a bit of grill marks adding to the textural experience. We ate outside on a gorgeous summer morning at their provided patio tables and it was one of the nicest breakfast dates I've had with my partner in a long time. It will very definitely be our new go-to sit-down breakfast spot from now on.

This is a quick in and out cafe. We enjoyed our sandwich, pastas, and salads. It could use a bit of a cleaning, but the outdoor seating is great.

Always a great place to dine! My friend and I visit here every week or two after our morning yoga class. Nice and courteous customer service, food is great! Love love love the Avocado toast with an added egg. The little red peppers are a delicious touch and the drizzle of honey is a beautiful balance with added energy boost! Please consider more of these simple meatless dishes-for those of us with sensitive tummies. You guys are great!!

Great coffee and food. Lots of choices and very nice atmosphere. A great place to go during a week for a lunch or weekend brunch!

Food is good, but they don't give you what you pay for or ask for. They short customers on ingredients and are nasty and argumentative to customers. Example...a BLT, according to the "chef" comes with 3 pieces of bacon. I got crumbs on my sandwich despite the fact that I ordered and paid for extra bacon. The "chef" was nasty and argumentative. Staff were clueless and none of them seemed to know what was going on. I don't mind paying extra to have a good meal, but this experience was terrible and spoiled my appetite.

This is by far our favorite restaurant. The food is excellent and the staff is always friendly and very helpful. I love their menu. I have never been disappointed. I’m also a big fan of their scones including their power scones!

The service has fallen off lately. I know it's a busy time and not enough staff but could consider a discount if the wait it too long. Have dined here many times and have never waited this long (over 30 minutes). An opportunity to simplify the menu may also help with staffing crunch and ability to meet proper service.

A good place for lunch, my Caesar Salad and Cherry Pie were both very good.

Stopped here in Whitefish Bay when heading down the lake road to Milwaukee. A really nice place for brunch / lunch with some nice menu options. I had a Caesar Salad with Chicken which was nice, then better still was the American Cherry Pie... Yum!! A large cafe with plenty of tables inside and a few outside. Costs are average with my Salad and Cherry pie costing $17.76

Yummy food and loved the ambiance. It was a bit chilly inside, though.
