MOXIE Food + Drink

This was our first trip to Moxie and we were extremely satisfied. Our server was excellent and the food and drinks were delicious.

Drinks are very expensive, service was slow and food was just ok. Sorry to say but we were asked to do this survey.

As always great food & drink options & our server & the other staff were amazing! Even though it was very busy when we got there the acoustics baffle the noise in a way we did not have trouble communicating in normal tones.

Great food at reasonable prices. We had a delightful experience. (I recommend the Bourbon Peach Short Rib Sliders.)

This is a great neighborhood restaurant. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The food and service is fantastic. Also, having an outdoor seating option is great.

I went to brunch. Good selection of items, without being overwhelming. Eggs Benedict very good. Best poached egg I had in a while. Interesting variety of cocktails. Staff was friendly. Owner came by to interact with us.

Returned to Moxie after about 4 years....always had great experiences. Cozy, fun spot with great food. Service was spot on but for a few moments appearing over-stretched. Will definitely return during warmer weather and open patio.

The thing that ended a nice dinner were the two “to go” boxes. Both boxes had greasy finger prints on the boxes. I had a piece of salmon to take home. I fear this may have been the source of grease for finger print on both boxes. Kind of an uck moment.

Very nice experience. We had a reservation and ended up sitting at the bar...it was VERY fun!!

Food was ok, I got the chicken and waffles and the chicken was tasty but thought there would be more to it for $18. We got mimosas and pretty small pours for price. My friend got the grilled romaine salad which looked delicious. I would go back maybe sit at the bar for a lunch or dinner.

Sunday brunch is fantastic. Unique and delicious versions of old favorites plus new tastes to explore. This neighborhood haunt shines. Eva is one of the top servers in Milwaukee. A sincere, welcoming, helpful and attentive person.

Seriously, one of the best restaurants that I’ve been to in a long time you definitely have to check this out for sure. Their drinks and food is outstanding. I’ll definitely be going back 10 to 100 more times.

I grew up in Texas with a tonnn of money in a very food oriented family and spent a LOT of time eating at excellent restaurants, many of which ended up going under within a few years of opening. I learned to spot when a restaurant was going to go under within minutes of entering the establishment. This is not one of those excellent restaurants by any stretch of the imagination. Let me put it this way, this place is trying too hard to be a fine dining establishment when it clearly is not. The food is flavorless, and I could tell within five minutes of walking in that the place is doomed to fail. Personally, when it does eventually fail, I will consider it a mercy to both Whitefish Bay AND the world. The only saving grace this sham of a restaurant has is its lovely wait staff and the wonderful bartender, and I would even venture to say that the cooks’ talent is wasted on this place. If you are looking to eat good food, don’t waste your time or money on this shoddy excuse of a restaurant. Thoroughly disappointed.

Weird atmosphere and vibe overall. I have known people that work there also and unless you are a man that likes to objectify women and are OK with that… I recommend you avoid this place.
