Went to go eat there at about 5:30pm today and I could not find any parking in the customer parking only area had to look for a spot in the rest of the parking lot but without parking somebody in you could not find a parking spot. I tried calling to see how long it would take just for food but apparently they were too busy to take my call and I have not been here in while so I forgot where the entrance was and the amount of people outside was quite a bit so I decided to just leave instead of trying to figure out why they were so busy and how long it would take for food.

The food just isn’t as good as when Dennis and Doris owned Anchor Bay!
The deep fried pickles were mostly the crispies from the bottom of the bag

The food is average. I would definitely come here for the view and friendly service. My wife actually liked the food so I'm bumping up to 4 stars.

Anchor Bay Bar and Grill offers a beautiful atmosphere on the scenic Wisconsin River. We ordered a homemade pizza pizza and one of their specialty burgers. They were both very tasty. They have a large bar and dining room area to accommodate large groups of people along with ample outdoor seating. The service was fast and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.

Parking: Large gravel parking lot with ample parking. There is no charge to park.

Kid-friendliness: This bar & grill offers two styles of high chairs and has booster seats. The bathroom also has a baby changing station.

Wheelchair accessibility: This bar & grill offers two big double doors as the entrance for easy entry. Tables in the dining room are adequately spaced for accessibility. There are also seating options on the patio that would be appropriate.

I contacted Anchor Bay 2 days in advance for my large group and they were very easy to work with for planning. The lunch went so smoothly and our server Deb was fantastic. I recommend them for food, drinks and large group parties.

Anchor Bay Bar and Grill is a great place to go to have a cocktail and eat. It is located by the water and the ambiance is terrific. The food is delicious and the service is attentive and above par. This time I was there with a group of 14 or so for lunch. The tables were set up and ready and the entire experience from beginning to end was wonderful. We were not rushed at all. We sat inside this time but you can seat yourself outside on a beautiful summer day and enjoy the scenery. Everyone should go there at least once but I think you would return.
