Old guys sitting around the table drinking coffee, discussing the local skuttlebut. Music coming out of a little portable radio. Old photos litter the walls. Not much bigger than my old college dorm room. It's perfect.

For me, this is the best family style comfort food. It really feels like you're stepping into a Grandma's dining room. Informal seating, cash only ($30 will cover you +1 and tip easy). Homemade stuff you likely grew up eating, but don't want or can't make yourself.
I love the variety of breakfast plates, and when it's time for real comfort, you can ask for the special of the day and a plate of REAL food shows up with flavor, pleasant textures,...

Great little family restaurant. Stopped in for breakfast while a family member had an operation at the local hospital. Very friendly staff that treated you like family. Food was very good and came up quick.
