The fish fry was terrible. My fish wasn't cooked, it wasn't white in color. The potato salad and the tatar sauce tasted like it had an over load of mustard in it. And tatar sauce to my knowledge doesn't have any mustard in it. My husbands fish was cooked and my enjoyed the shrimp. I thought prices were on high side for the quality of food served.

Honestly, this place made me angry! The moment I walked in all I smelled was cigarette smoke! The owner tried to defend it by saying it was a bar and he has exhaust but the "smoking room" was just to the right of the bar and no, there was no exhaust that I saw or heard and all the smoke came in the bar. It's been several hours since I left and I STILL have a screaming headache and a stomach ache from the damn smoke which I am allergic to!!! All my clothes and hair stunk so everything got washed and showered again. Irritating! The atmosphere wasn't anything to write home about and in fact, made me very angry. Trump crap everywhere! Harley crap all over the place as well. The only cute thing was one spot in the back with a grouping of antiques. The place itself was very sparse for tables and left a LOT of open space which made the place feel like a warehouse and not at all cozy. It felt cold literally and figuratively. If I wasn't there to see an old friend, I would have left immediately but I was also hungry so I ordered the three-piece broiled fish with potato salad. The plating could have been done better. The coleslaw was in a cup which was fine but the potato salad was scooped on the plate in the middle of the pool of melted butter from the fish. Not good. The fish was good, though there was a little too much seasoning on it. The bread was ok though it was soaked in the melted butter so it was soggy on one side. Also not good. I could also do without the country hillbilly music being played without a choice and too loud as I really hate listening to that crap. I usually give a place three times and try to support local businesses but I will NEVER, EVER go back to this place, especially if it supports right-wing nut jobs and is SO smokey!!!
