we drove 1 1/2 hours because we'd heard about the Wednesday special- broasted chicken & dumplings. Excellent !!!

We were pretty disappointed at tonight's meal. Salad... asked for no veg.s. lettuce was not crispy and fresh and I tasted the cucumber she must have just taken off. Dumplings... not very hot and gravy was not thick like usual. Chicken... not hot and mine had an aftertaste I haven't experienced before here. My husband says the chicken was just "blah". just celebrated a 50th anniversary here! the staff and crew did amazing. nice to go full circle to where the couple celebrated their wedding 50 years ago! bartender kept up so great to our open tab!!! quality appetizers. clean venue. randy and staff you rock. highly recommend for your event!!!
