We were pretty disappointed at tonight's meal. Salad... asked for no veg.s. lettuce was not crispy and fresh and I tasted the cucumber she must have just taken off. Dumplings... not very hot and gravy was not thick like usual. Chicken... not hot and mine had an aftertaste I haven't experienced before here. My husband says the chicken was just "blah". We haven't been out here since before the holidays. Did you change owners again? I don't like...
Staff friendly, however twice baked potatoes were dry and probably frozen. Had a $2.08 transaction fee on our bill (just the 2 of us) We paid in cash and were short changed by $2.00 and did not get a receipt.
This is our second visit in a week, we came for the chicken and dumplings on Wednesday and back for the fish fry today. On both occasions the food was delicious, hot and a good value. The service was friendly and excellent, thanks Bryanne (not sure of spelling) and Jane. Randy the co-owner is very personable and welcoming. Will definitely be back.
