I worked there off and on 24 years and had to train new cooks, I got screwed every which way but loose. Had 5 vacation took away. I had to be landscape work for them and got paid minimum wage. And they gave me a 2 cent raise once and they had to split it between all the employees. Lol and I could go on and but that's all.,

It’s always a treat to dine at LJ’s. Our family of four were greeted at the counter by a very sweet lady. She took our order and included my two girls for a fun family time! It’s somewhat pricey, but it’s always worth it. If you’re looking for quality food and service, this is where it’s at!Parking: This parking area is included with the other businesses in the Beckley plaza. It is somewhat awkward and the lines could use a new paint job, however there are plenty of spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: Shows in the picture provided.

Placed 2 orders to go and didn't check the bag until I got home. They left an entire meal out and didn't put any condiments (that I asked for) or napkins in the bag. I tried calling them and nobody would answer the phone. I've been there a total of 4 times since they reopened and every single time they get something wrong. Not going back.

Order a #1 that is 2 pieces of fish, fries, hush puppies and a drink. I thought I would get slaw but didn’t. Maybe it wasn’t included. $9.95. Fish was good, fries were also but such a small amount, maybe 10-12 if that. I noticed how small the inside was and trying to figure out why. That seemed to be a huge problem for anyone wanting to eat inside. Overall nothing to make me want to go back.

Tried out the new place and I'm happy to report LJS IS BACK! Beautiful inside and very clean and inviting. My family ordered the 16 piece family pack and 15 battered shrimp for take out. Service was friendly and fast. Food was fresh and delicious. In fact, so good we ate there again the next day. Glad you're back, gang!! Don't change a thing!
