Awsome food! Fabulous service! Great atmosphere. We took my aunt here for her 90th birthday. I had steak marsala which came with mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes. The wine sauce was delicious. My wife had the swordfish special. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. I can't say enough about our server, who was awesome.
Expect the best and plan to spend a little money.

The atmosphere, food and experience is always a treat. The servers are very well trained and most of the staff has worked here for many years. When we travel, we rarely (if ever), find a better steak. When vendors, clients, family, etc come in to town everyone wants to eat The Char!

Unexpected gem in Beckley WV. Our filets were cooked to perfection and the stuffed potatoes were delicious. Our server, Theresa, was friendly and helpful in guiding us in our new river adventure.
