I had their homemade chai latte, my god it's good! Perfectly spiced and hot. Fairfax looks like a nice, welcoming place to sit down in too.

Outstanding biscuits and gravy! Mocha was perfect too. The tempeh avocado lettuce and tomato (TALT) was a great option for our vegetarian friends also. Perfect respite after an hour in the hot pings.

We had such a wonderful experience here! Having a safe space in such a small town is truly amazing. I highly recommend the avocado toast and an iced Americano so smooth it’ll leave a lasting impression! Sooo yummy! 10/10!

I ordered a egg and cheese on a plain bagel and then oat milk matcha and got charged over $17. This isn't adding up for me. They don't even have a contact phone number on their website until you submit a message through the prompt window. The women behind the counter were very put offish. I take responsibility for not knowing what it cost when I ordered it, but they don't even give you an opportunity to see a number, there's no screen available to look at. In your face. I noticed the cost on my phone after the transaction hand down. Waiting to see if they reach back out to me after I submitted a website inquiry and message on the phone number.
Only two stars because I feel like one typically gets dismissed.

Went in for breakfast. Lady at the register was rude. Made my food worth. Bag our food when we told them we were dinning in. Cook gave me a weird look. Never going again.

Stopped in for a coffee after visiting the state park across the street. It's a cute coffee shop with a handful of seats. It's order at the counter and find your own table. It looked like they had great breakfast sandwiches but we didn't eat. My food rating is on a strawberry coconut pound cake muffin that was absolutely delicious. They were fresh brewing all the coffee. Had a helpful sign that explains the different drinks (helpful for my daughter who's trying to become a coffee drinker), and I was told the iced coffee drinks were good. I'd go back again and again for the baked goods and would love to try some of their other food.

Husband and I made our first visit to Berkeley Springs WV, too early to check into our accommodations, but hungry for lunch. We stopped in to the Fairfax Coffee House after reading about it online. What a cool little place to eat. A bit of funky, a bit of fun and a whole lot of yummy! We ordered sandwiches ... my husband got the Comeback Kid - brie cheese, turkey, bacon, arugula and red onion on a panini. I chose the Tom Foolery ... roast chicken, avocado spread, cucumber, red onion, tomato and pesto on a gently toasted multigrain bread. The really large sandwiches were warm, freshly made with great ingredients (we didn't even eat dinner that night!). Cheryl, who made the sandwiches, brought them out to us without a long wait. She was friendly and kind; even brought us a couple of freshly made cookies after our meal along with wishes from Liz, the manager (we were celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary). The dining area is small, but we were very comfortable at our table. The only down side we found was that my husband likes to drink diet soda with his lunch and they didn't offer any. They also serve breakfast all day .... the list of sandwiches and drinks is extensive and I am sure has something for everyone. Should we return to Berkeley Springs, we will definitely be stopping in again! You should too!
