Lovely place for a cup of soup (lemon dill!) and a sandwich. Friendly folks and a charming environment too. The black coffee for the road was worth every penny. Enjoy the Lighthouse!

This place is cute and sweet. The lady who helped us was the only one in there for the first 40 mins of opening and handled all four groups nicely. The food is well priced and exactly what you want.
It smelled amazing upon entering, and you can also see a bunch of sweetly crafted truffles right inside.

Feels like you're at a friend's grandparents' house with plastic table coverings, in a good way.

It does open a little later than some of the other cafes and coffeeshops in the area.

I came in while walking around town, I was greeted by two very friendly women Janet and Stacey. I order broccoli cheese soup (the special of the day) which was delicious for about $6.50 overall lovely and experience!

This is a clean and comfy cafe with excellent food. The tomato basil soup is primo, and the grilled cheese sandwich is just like my mom made - ultimate comfort food for winter. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Terrific lunch stop.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The woman I spoke with told me all about the baked goods in their display case and how talented their baker is. After tasting a cherry breakfast tart and a Yule log slice I can definitely agree! The coffee I ordered was also made exactly as I’d asked. Great little coffee shop/bakery!

The food was fine, but way overpriced for the portions. Most breakfast items were priced like breakfast in Manhattan—except you’re in West Virginia. The service was okay, even if somewhat slow (and there was only one other table).

We then went for a walk and found Creekside Provisions: much hipper, more unique, and fun—quirky merchandise, and better-priced breakfast items. I wish I’d found that place first.
