“I moved to far Southwest Virginia 9 years ago from metropolitan Portland, Oregon. Major culture & cuisine shock! \n\nI now like grits, okra, gravy biscuits, & barbecue......but unless you frequent a standard greasy spoon or pizza chain, it is somewhat "potluck". \n\nAlong comes Subway...good 'ole bland & basic Subway. The Subway of J*ared (dare I say the word?). That was actually comforting, knowing I can go someplace where I know the menu and the worker's make me feel like they know me......\nBUT\nIt is still ...good 'ole bland & basic Subway.......\nBUT, NO!!!\nThey brought me a Reuben & Swiss cheese; \nA Mediterranean & Feta!\nWhat next? I watch, they have my attention.\nAND\nThroughout it all, they make me feel like they know me.“
