“I traveled to Bridgeport for work & Cody’s was an incredibly delicious find behind my hotel. The chicken pub sandwich with whipped pimento cheese is some of the best I’ve ever had. I wish I could have a bottle of the marinade used on the chicken…so juicy & flavorful. Great selection of cocktails made with WV sourced ingredients-the blackberry lemonade was refreshing. My next trip to Bridgeport I’ll definitely be back to Cody’s!“

“We ate supper at Meagher's Irish Pub on Saturday, May 25. The atmosphere wasn't particularly Irish, except for the many Guinness posters decorating the walls. Nonetheless, the food - with exceptions - was very good. I had the corned beef with cabbage and mashed potatoes, and my wife had the Rueben. Her sandwich was so big that she could only finish half and gave the other to me. My corned beef was exceptionally good, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The cabbage was a bit underdone, but acceptable. However, I was very disappointed that they used some kind of instant, powdered, potato mix, rather than mashing up real potatoes. It was bland, grainy, and flavorless (like something you might get in the Army). Our server was friendly and attentive, so considering that and the excellent corned beef, I will give our experience a 4.“
