“We were promptly acknowledged when entering the restaurant. Within minutes Jessica was taking our order. She made recommendations for our 2 year old. Throughout the meal she checked in to refill our drinks and check to make sure we were enjoying our food. The food was delivered quick, hot, and full of flavor. Five Star Service!!!”

“My wife and I stopped here for lunch. We chose not to order the special. I tried the hotdogs and onion rings. My wife had the Hawaiian Salad. Both orders were delicious. We both had cookies and they were very good. Our server was very friendly as were other patrons. We highly recommend Country Time Cooking and will stop by again on our trips through the area.”

“Stopped in with my family on Labor Day weekend—phenomenal margarita (we had the Blueberry Maple), very well balanced, not too sweet and the maple truly came through. Everyone throughly enjoyed their meal, and our server was kind, knowledgeable and attentive. If I wasn’t from out of town/3 hours away, this would be a go-to spot for sure. 10/10!”

I bought barrel aged coffee grounds & an amazing smelling body spray from two different vendors that I haven't seen before. “After our truly awful experience at the Elkins location—where a hostile hostess turned us away despite an empty restaurant on a Sunday night—we weren’t holding out much hope.

Their Buckhannon location completely turned things around. Even though it was packed, they seated our group of four right away with a friendly welcome.

Our server was a standout: incredibly kind, attentive, and prompt with everything from recommendations to refills, making the whole meal feel effortless and enjoyable. The food was great, a little under-seasoned but fresh and flavorful.

If only the hostess and staff back at their Elkins location could shadow this team for a day—she’d learn volumes about genuine hospitality and turning a busy night into a great one. Highly recommend MJ Maggie’s Buckhannon location.”

“I ordered two trays of subs for a family dinner. The manager explained all of the options that were available and answered all of my questions before taking my order. I felt the price was reasonable and the trays were ready when requested, freshly made with lots of meat and cheese along with a nice assortment of toppings separately packed as a veggie tray. I was well pleased with the service and the product.”
