“Great Outdoor area, with a beautiful view to a creek. Dog friendly staff. Food was very good and prices were very reasonable 100% recommended
Parking: Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant and on the back as well. Very rarely anyone would need to park In the back, but is there if needed“

“After our truly awful experience at the Elkins location—where a hostile hostess turned us away despite an empty restaurant on a Sunday night—we weren’t holding out much hope.
Their Buckhannon location completely turned things around. Even though it was packed, they seated our group of four right away with a friendly welcome.
Our server was a standout: incredibly kind, attentive, and prompt with everything from recommendations to refills, making the whole meal feel effortless and enjoyable. The food was great, a little under-seasoned but fresh and flavorful.
If only the hostess and staff back at their Elkins location could shadow this team for a day—she’d learn volumes about genuine hospitality and turning a busy night into a great one. Highly recommend MJ Maggie’s Buckhannon location.“

“Had to venture over to the big city of Buckhannon to pick up something with my neighbor in his truck. I was buying lunch and he picked here. We both went with thecheese steak sandwich. He added onion rings for an upcharge and I went with the 'comes with' fries. The sandwich was fine. The space with a really nice outdoor seating was great. Tons of TVs. A nice bar. Although my buddy said it was not new it really gleamed and presented itself as brand new. I know I'm old but should two steak sandwiches cost $50 bucks with tip?
The service from all the female servers was excellent!“

“We were promptly acknowledged when entering the restaurant. Within minutes Jessica was taking our order. She made recommendations for our 2 year old. Throughout the meal she checked in to refill our drinks and check to make sure we were enjoying our food. The food was delivered quick, hot, and full of flavor. Five Star Service!!!“
