“Ordered the chicken strips with fries and the Philly cheesesteak with onion rings. Both were very good. Large portions for a great price. Definitely worth the stop if your in the area.

Parking: Gravel parking lot. Slots of spots between the upper lot and lower.”

“Been by this little building probably 50 times over the years and never really noticed it. There's not a lot in the area, so when I saw they were a bakery we stopped in for some treats. The white chocolate macadamia cookies were chronic. The mini cake was good. I will say the Pepperoni roll with marinara is the best pepp roll I've had in a long long time. I initially judged the lack of grease dripping out as a sign of a poor roll, with a lack if fillings like Chico Bakery, but boy was I wrong. Tons of pepperoni and cheese And super soft dough, like you can tell a baker made these, just perfectly made. It had just a hint of sauce that made it perfect. I always say Federicos in Steubenville, OH have the best rolls because they use sauce in them , but I'm gonna give Best Roll status to Mtn State Cakes. Thanks again!”

“Husband had this pizza years ago at a rural location. He completely forgot about it until seeing sign at a different location in another very rural area. I personally have never had it and I'm extremely picky when it comes to pizza. It's one of my favorite foods. Well he suggested I try it because he remembers loving it over a decade ago. So I agreed and got a simple pepperoni pizza and then drove 15 mins home. Only cost $11.99 plus tax for a 12" Pizza which is cheapest pizza I've ever purchased. I had to rewarm it which made me hesitant on the quality. I was totally wrong. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER EATEN. First purchase for me was yesterday and today I went out and bought 2 more. Great dough, sauce, cheese the works. I will forever be a Hunt Brothers Pizza only..”

“This place gets some credit as it is HARD to get food to this location, and the ice cream and milkshakes here are excellent! If you get caught at the bottom in a storm like we did, this place is to the rescue with options to cheer up the kids, get a nice drink, sit on the deck and enjoy a beautiful lake view.”

“This Starbucks location is an easy stop off the interstate for commuters & local shoppers in the Flatwoods/ Braxton County area. The staff is always so efficient, plus friendly at getting the order completed as quick as possible. They're a nice group of staff & always seem like they're knowledgeable about everything Starbucks. I have frequented this location often over the past year & never had a bad experience. They're happy to help or provide assistance if needed and know their regulars by name, plus take the time to say hello. I can't say enough about the Store experience & staff!

Vegetarian options: They have options both for food & drinks that can be made more vegan friendly.

Parking: Easy pull in to park directly in front of the location and/ or on the side of the location. Wheelchair spots are available & the drive-thru has easy access with minimal turns & twists to go through. Unlike a lot of off the interstate Starbucks locations.

Kid-friendliness: I've seen 1st hand employees offer a warm welcome or conversation to different children as they've come & gone. This store has a nice age range of staff that is really good at working with all ages as the come into the store.

Wheelchair accessibility: Their is wheel chair accessible tables both inside, plus outside and the staff is always happy to assist in anyway possible.”

“Considering that this is part of a ski resort, the food and service were both very good. My wife had a teriyaki glazed salmon with some of the best shiitake mushrooms, and I had a chicken pasta Alfredo. Both were quite delicious. I noticed that they had some problems during the previous ski season. Hopefully the problems are behind them now.”
