My favorite spot in Charles Town. Reasonably priced food and the staff are courteous and quick. Reliable quality of food every time I go.

Grandmas diner is definitely a nostalgic greasy spoon style diner that you will love for the hometown, homemade, down to earth food. If local rural West Virginia food is not your style then move right along for us locals!!! It was 8.99 for sausage 2 eggs hash browns coffee and rye toast!

Quaint diner in downtown Charles Town. We decided to dine here because it was one of the few restaurants open early during my visit, allowing me to mark West Virginia off my 50 states bucket list. Food came out fast and freshly cooked to order. I ordered biscuits with chipped beef gravy, a regional specialty, and it was delicious. Besides the paper plates and disposable plastic utensils, which was odd, Grandma's Diner was a great breakfast spot.

Great local small diner, Latino-run (so good music on radio IMO). Great omelet, not overseasoned, good price. Went for first time last week and pleasantly surprised!

Classic little diner. We had the steak & Cheese that was filled high with chopped beef and a bacon burger, yummy!

Such a cute little place to get a quick breakfast! Boyfriend and I came up for the day to wander around and we stopped here to eat. Food was super fast and service was amazing! No complaints.

Setting aside the fact this is a family small business that deserves patronage. I don't see how anyone rates this beyond a one. It's charming sure but full of workers who are bowed in morning prayer (glued to their cellphones). No one looks up. Paper bowl and plastic? The server literally dumped my bowl and wordlessly shuffled off. They were all so engaged in chitchat I had to get up and ask for things. This is a regular priced restaurant with CHEAPLY executed average quality food and no service. Today there are six workers in a chat circle behind the counter. I just don't see why anyone would come back twice. I'm going /

Terrible food!!! Burnt toast, sour juice. They use canned and frozen foods. I could have made that at home so much better!!!!!! We go out to eat and pay in order to have better food than we make at home. I used to go here some years back and it was much h better, or maybe I'm just more aware of the quality I want these days.

Food was bland and over cooked. Wasn't greated or seated. The "cook" was touching everything, including herself, without wearing gloves or washing her hands between touching other things and cooking. They serve you as each item is done instead your whole meal at once, much less the whole table at once. Overpriced. First experience was terrible, second experience was just as bad if not worse.
