Paddy's Reviews
AHI Tuna, blackened, med- rare is outstanding. Quick service, cold beer and inviting atmosphere! What more more do you need?
I wanted to leave a review for Paddy’s since every other one was negative and not helpful! We are staying in the area for vacation and wanted to go somewhere for dinner. Paddy’s had a wide variety on their menu; Irish food, sandwiches, seafood and specials each night. The restaurant is in a historical building in the heart of Charles Town. We really wanted to try this Irish pub, but were met with a very rude staff member who did not say a word to us, thrower the two
Menus on the table and walked away without asking if we needed anything. We waited fifteen minutes and not a single gel person came by to check on us or take our order. Will not return.

Paddy's restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including the popular Great Cobb Salad and Crab Dip. Their Reuben sandwich is also a hit, and the chicken alfredo is considered the best in town. Customers can enjoy meals indoors or outside on the patio, especially on nice days. The food is generally good, with dishes like the fish sandwich, French dip, shrimp boil, and handcut fries receiving positive comments. Paddy's is a suitable place for a satisfying meal any time of day or for a pre-concert steak dinner, making it a popular spot for both regulars and new visitors.
The restaurant is known for its laid-back atmosphere where customers can just eat, talk, and have a good time. The food is described as delicious, with the Boom Boom Shrimp, Crab Cake Sandwich, and Celtic Fish Sandwich being particularly praised. The shrimp boil, while not a typical Cajun style, is also worth ordering as it is packed with flavor. The nachos are also highly recommended. The staff is often friendly and polite, providing great service to the customers.
