We got to watch a deluge and lightning 🌩 storm from the comfort of our table at Applebee's near the big mall outside of Charleston WV. Delicious meals and appetizers and good company. Our server was nice and always ahead of our requests for drinks and anything else we needed.

We ordered chips and salsa to start. Split the Strawberry Salad with no strawberries. Was still good but the kids wanted yogurt and strawberries. We still enjoyed our time and had some good food. The girls had chicken tenders and sides. Clean restrooms and dining room. No prices on the drinks so we just ordered anyway. Server was nice and helpful. Lots of history being one of the longest lasting restaurants on the corridor.

We absolutely love going to our local Applebee’s. The food and service are great. We especially love Misty Cooper the bar manager. She always has a smile on her face and jumps in to help when things get busy. She knows everyone and is always a joy to talk to.

Tried to get a table for 2 people at 630pm. Was told a 15-25 minute wait, with approximately 20 open tables in view. We used to love coming here, but due to service issues hadn't been back in a while, now I remember why.

It was my bday yesterday, so my family & I chose Applebee's for dinner.. primarily because their Mac&Cheese w/ Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders had always been one of my favorite meals. So good, even my husband ordered the same. I asked the server who took my order over the phone if we could add extra honey pepper chicken tenders on both orders, he said yes but that there would be a surcharge. I proceeded to tell him my daughter's order, which was the Riblet plate with loaded mashed potatoes. He said it would cost extra for the loaded. I said okay. When my daughter returned home with our food she was given plain French fries rather than loaded mashed potatoes, and rather than extra honey pepper chicken tenders, we were given plain original chicken tenders in a to-go container. Both pasta meals were incredibly dry, lackluster all the way around. It's basically 15 bucks for a giant bowl of noodles with no sauce or flavor. There's usually tons of leftover pasta, which was why i ordered extra honey pepper chicken. It was always my favorite meal, and on my bday at that.. yes I was a little disappointed. Especially when the worker repeated my order back to confirm everything was correct 🤦‍♀️

The black families here before I was waited over an hour for their food, but I got mine in under 20 minutes.

Jennifer has taken care of on several occasions in the afternoon generally. Today she did agay. (3-19-25)
She's always smiling and super busy but it never shows. I hope you let her know that it's noticed... It's a great part of the experience... Definitely we'll be back.

I ended up just getting Boneless wings and fries. 4 hours later I’m vomiting all night and can’t stay out the bathroom. Turns out I have food poisoning. Will never be back

Food was great, service was good, we came an hour before closing and 1 server was taking care of the whole area alone but she did great. I was on vacation from TX with the family and was happy to have hot food.

My husband and I went for lunch on Valentine’s Day, Daryius was our server. He was great!! We were greeted quickly and he was attentive and friendly. I had the oriental chicken salad and my husband had the bourbon street chicken and shrimp and both our meals were most delicious!! It had been a very long time since we had been to any Applebees location and as we were leaving we were both saying we don’t know why it had been so long and we will be back. Very good!
