Applebee's Grill + Bar

One of the worst restaurants in alk of Kanawha County WV! Went by myself and it took 18 minutes to be seated while not busy, it took 26 minutes to receive my regular burger and fries, fries we're old, and the waitress never checked on me! The building looks like it was falling apart so I was didn't even use the restroom there. And let's not forget about the highly intoxicated lod drunks seated at the bar arguing while families with children we're seated nearby!

Struggling with this AB location. Subpar food and just old. Service was good however didn't make up for subpar food.

Applebee's is the SLOWEST service, no matter if it's getting someone to seat you or ordering or getting food, even when it's empty. They forget what you order and take 10 minutes between everything. Bring my $24 ribeye and forgot the LOADED potatoes. 10 minutes later, steak cold, you get the potatoes. We ordered a tall beer and got a small glass. Waiter LIED and said the other glasses were the same ounces. He shouldn't have served the guy next to us a tall glass so we knew he lied. At least the manager made it right and gave a discount. But you shouldn't have to ask to see the manager.

I’m not rating the food, just the service because we didn’t even get to eat. My fiancé and I went to this location last night to grab some dinner. We walked in and waited patiently to be seated. Well, there’s not a lot of customers and a bunch of open seats and 4 servers didn’t even acknowledge the line of people at the door including us. Finally the group ahead of us asked if they were able to be seated and the woman went to the back to grab somebody. They got seated and the hostess didn’t even come back to seat anybody else. We waited a moment more and 5 employees had walked outside and we assumed they were arguing. We ended up leaving because we didn’t feel like waiting any longer plus the amount of time it would have taken to get our food plus drinks. It was very disappointing. We ended up going to Texas Roadhouse across the street though and we were greeted and seated in no time, plus our waiter was fabulous!

Left my momma there for 40 minutes and didnt even get drinks they are hectic an strugglin

Food and drinks were good. The inside was in serious need of repair and made me question what the kitchen looked like. I didn't even look at the bathroom because I was certain it would make me change my mind about eating there. There was a bubble on the stair tread leading upto the booths that almost tripped us. Waiter disappeared for a longtime after serving second drink and announcing cousin was cut off. While her daughter only had one cup of soda that was empty and remained that way until we were done with the food.

Food was excellent, other than the tenders were over cooked. All the food had great seasoning and served hot. Service was excellent and quick. Our waiter made the experience!!

We got to watch a deluge and lightning 🌩 storm from the comfort of our table at Applebee's near the big mall outside of Charleston WV. Delicious meals and appetizers and good company. Our server was nice and always ahead of our requests for drinks and anything else we needed.

We ordered chips and salsa to start. Split the Strawberry Salad with no strawberries. Was still good but the kids wanted yogurt and strawberries. We still enjoyed our time and had some good food. The girls had chicken tenders and sides. Clean restrooms and dining room. No prices on the drinks so we just ordered anyway. Server was nice and helpful. Lots of history being one of the longest lasting restaurants on the corridor.
