New ownership is terrible, completely ruined a classic Charleston staple.
They care more about their TRASH political beliefs than their business. How sad & pathetic. Won’t be eating here.
I went in last fall and noticed new owners. Fazios has always been my favorite filet in town. However, it appears they have opted for a lesser cut and unfortunately it was flavorless. Also missing was the cantaloupe, cheese and cracker welcome. A political picture of Trump with a bleeding ear was in poor taste. We don't bring politics to the dinner table much less to the front door. After 20 years, we will not return. Check out the many superior options nearby.
Super great people! Wonderful staff and owners! Food is is delicious... Treats me and my step-brother like we are family!
Wheelchair accessibility: Sometimes i need a wheelchair for my step-brother but its easy to use in the restaurant...

Service wasn’t great and the food is nothing special for what it costs. Almost $70 for an appetizer and a small order of spaghetti and meatballs and a small order of baked manicotti. I would go to Olive Garden, it’s just as good. Place is extremely dated and definitely needs some sprucing up. It kinda reminded me of being in a funeral home.

There's no place like home. The best Italian restaurant I have had and I have been to many many Italian restaurants from DC area, Baltimore, NY and South into different areas in Florida. My dad took us all over the east coast but nothing I have had has come close to JOE FAZIOS.
spumoni so good never knew about this until I asked the head shef for a suggestion and he suggested this for breakfast. Thanks so much Mr. Fazios.

The atmosphere was AMAZING. It was like being transported somewhere else. The decor, lighting, and soft music provided a really enjoyable ambiance.
The food was okay. Reasonably priced for what it was, but definitely didn’t match the vibe. I would love to see this restaurant redo their menu. Less options, new recipes, more expensive. The place could be great.
Our waiter was a little rude but nothing major. He seemed flustered by another table and annoyed with us needing time to look over the menu.
My boyfriend loved the seafood platter, except for the fact that the scallops and shrimp were not cleaned properly before being prepared. There was sand in his scallops he kept biting into. We didn’t complain, but will definitely not order seafood from here again. Even though it was beautifully seasoned and well cooked, not being cleaned beforehand is a dealbreaker.
I was assured the spaghetti sauce is vegetarian, and does not have pork bones in it. Which is something I always look out for at nicer Italian restaurants. I was very happy to have that vegetarian option.
Dessert was the best part of the experience. The tiramisu was delightful and I paired it with a delightful heavy Italian Red. If I were to return, I would likely only meet up with friends over wine and Tiramisu and skip dinner.
Vegetarian options: The spaghetti marinara sauce is vegetarian, but is not clearly marked as such on the menu.

Food is pretty good but the old school vibe is what you want in a red sauce joint.
