Okay, here's the deal...
Our server was very nice, which was great...
But here are the problems:
For the price, you get a cheap salad mix with little to no color other than lettuce and like three slivers of cabbage. The soup is yummy but mostly broth, which is okay, it was good.
The problem lies with the teriyaki hibachi dinners. My mother asked for no *added* sauce to her dish. She's fine with the marinated stuff, but when we got our dishes? Drenched. Like I mean they clearly add more on top. Not only that, but you get not-so-grilled chicken niblets. Now I'm not saying it's not BAD but I'm not saying it's great considering the price. These were the cheapest options of this dish type for 18.50, and I expected a little more like.. gusto I guess?
Anyway. It's okay, but definitely could be better.
All in all, the place isn't bad but definitely expensive for the food they give you. I'd go here again, maybe try something else.

I like the dark theme and vines of the place. It’s like being in the back room of an asian restaurant from movie where they are gambling and eating sushi and I dig it. The food is great. I love the salad with the ginger dressing and the miso soup. Needs to be had every time I go and you should too.
The staff is always friendly as is their way and culture. Just a great group of people to be served by. They care for their food they care for each other and they care that you have a good time. I have no complaints and would recommend.

Google lists them open until 10pm. I placed a mobile order at 1:45pm. Show up a little after 2 to pick it up. A lady came out and said she cancelled the order because they close at 2. If you're closing why is your website accepting orders and why don't you list proper hours online?
Went a Monday. Presidents days . Wasn’t busy at all. Read the reviews before going and seen that service was slow. It only took 20 min from the time my family sat down and ordered, that our food was done. The shrimp was good very good . I’ve had other hibachi restaurants that over cooked their shrimp! Not the case here . Not bad for visiting from out of state . Very solid hibachi but not the best I’ve ever had . Would recommend tho 8.5/10

I was alone so went to this restaurant (closest Japanese restaurant to me). There were about 15 people or so waiting and there was no hostess for over 10 mins. When she finally arrived I asked it if i could sit at the bar and she said sure but the bar is not open. Well I thought I could still eat there and she said yes. 15 mins later not even a server to ask for water. So I went next door to a Mexican restaurant and got prompt service. Maybe I will try again but would rather drive further for better service.
The chef was great ... interacting with everyone

Ordered 2 sushi rools. Shrimp crunchy roll and a spicy tuna roll. Both were not edible. Rice was off tasting, Shrimp roll had nothing but cucumber, spicy roll tuna was blended with something and was like a rock. Won't go back.
I wasn't impressed at all for the amount of money spent. And I am very much aware of how much it costs to eat here usually, I'm just saying I wasn't impressed with the limited amount of veggies that I got with my steak hibachi stir fry. I felt like for the price of it, I definitely should have received a full portion not just a couple veggies here and there. Also the dressing for the house salad was gross, we usually eat at the one in Summersville, WV and their dressing is sweet, where the one in Charleston wasn't. I guess it's all a matter of preference but the veggie portion was definitely short from what it should have been. It also took minute to get my bill when the place was clearly not busy. I'm a former server, so I get it shit does happen but anytime I wasn't loaded down with tables, all at once, I could pretty much handle it, and I got my stuff out in a timely manner and pre-bussed my tables (which also wasn't done at all until we were leaving the restaurant. So we sit with piled up dishes the whole time. On a positive note, the yummy roll was amazing!
The California roll barely had any crab, so it was essentially cucumber and avocado. Service is atrocious, I went twice and they never checked up on me once, both times. Fish isn't all that fresh either. And the miso soup isn't miso soup it's clear soup. There's better place to go
The calamari was chewy and tasted freeze dried. The worst I have ever had. I ordered the steak and it came cold and over seasoned. We both ordered miso soup but got two different soups. The waiter could not or chose to understand what we said any time we asked questions about our food. In the end I spent more than $50 for food neither of us ate more than a couple of bites. Never returning.
We have NEVER had a bad night here until yesterday. So we didn't tip. Our food was cold when we got it. The waiter never checked back on us. When we would try to talk to him he would ignore us. We asked to speak to a manager they didn't have one. So when it was time to leave we paid the bill but didn't tip. This waiter had the audacity to put his hands on my husband and push him back down in the seat and demand a tip. They never called us after taking our numbers and never reached out after.
