Amazing food, fantastic service and phenomenal drinks (Bear is the best bartender you’ll find). The owner is a fantastic guy as well. Do yourself a favor and grab West Virginia roll or try the mountain momma. One of the best in the area for sure!

The sushi is excellent! Probably the best spicy tuna Ive ever had. So fresh and flavorful. Our appetizer was light and crisp as were our salads. The service was great with our server being attentive and quick. The inside is nice and very clean. They had outdoor patio seating that we didn’t know about until we had already been sat and been waited on. The bill was a bit higher than I pay elsewhere but worth the quality we were served. I definitely will be back again.

Awesome place if you’re into Sushi and other Japanese food. We go there often and went recently for my son’s graduation. They were very friendly, courteous and outgoing considering the size of our party. Service and food was great, as always. Highly recommend and we will def be back! Not a fan of sushi but their other menus items are great…my wife and son rave about the sushi! Clean environment and very awesome!!

Great food, great service, enough said. If you want something special order the Rendang, one of the most delicious dishes I have ever had. Price is $28 now by the way.

Eric was easily one of the best servers I’ve ever had. He’s extremely personable, gave great recommendations, went out of his way to hold the door for us on the way out and overall had fantastic service. Food was great as well. Highly reccomend asking for Eric!!

Kita is a true gem of West Virginia and an eatery I would compare to any upscale metropolitan restaurant. The high quality ingredients and cookery is noticeable in any dish that leaves the kitchen. You may pay slightly more than you are used to in this area, but the results speak for themselves. THE number one place I would recommend to anyone in the I-64 corridor. Highlights: Sushi, fried appetizers, Steak.

Came in with a group of four at 7:15pm on July 1st, 2025. We were seated immediately because the restaurant was mostly empty. Drink orders were taken, then food orders about fifteen minutes later when the drinks were delivered. The drink service was a little slow, but our server was busy bussing tables, so I didn't mind.
Unfortunately, the next time our server came back it was with half the table's food, about 7:45.
My wife and I never received our food.
At 8:15, having ordered almost an hour previously, and having watched our other two party-members eat their food, we flagged down the waitress and asked her to cancel our order.
Ultimately we did receive the sushi roll we ordered, and my wife did receive her soup and salad, but we never received the entrees.
The most shocking thing to me was that, after asking the waitress to cancel our order, we were never once approached by management. I imagine cancelling a placed order for half a table is a pretty shocking thing, and something a manager might have wanted to look into?
Instead the waitress asked us to wait longer, which we declined, and then she took the entrees off our ticket.
With one sushi roll and two drinks each, my wife and I still spent $100, and didn't get a chance to even eat an entree.
Not our waitress's fault, though. She was incredibly sweet and very hard working (she was one of two servers I saw and the only one bussing tables).
Ultimately, the service from the back of the house was very poor, and a mismanaged kitchen ruined what was otherwise shaping up to be a good restaurant experience.

Kita is always one of my go to spots but this last time was the best ever! Our waiter, Scotty, was one of the best we’ve ever had. He was super helpful and quick to give refills and check on us. Definitely going to keep coming back.
